Delete your CityNeedsYou account
Delete it yourself (fastest)
- Open the CityNeedsYou app, or sign in on the web.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you're signed out on every device.
If you have a request in progress, whether you asked for help or are helping someone, finish or cancel it first. The app will remind you.
Can't sign in?
Email abdulrahmanonwork@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or include your registered phone number, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and delete the account within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number and password
- Your profile photo, bio, gender, date of birth and location
- Saved places, Hero skills, notifications and device tokens
- Your support requests
- All your active sessions
What stays, without your name
Requests you posted, help you gave, ratings and Hero Points are part of other people's history, so they stay and show you as "Deleted user". They're no longer linked to your name, phone or email. Reports made for safety reasons are also kept.
Deleting your account can't be undone, but you're welcome to sign up again later with the same phone number or email.
